About Me

“I love to hear the stories, the experiences, the pain and the joys of peoples lives told through song and I make music that I hope can do the same for you.”

I love the sound of a beautiful melody playing through my headphones as I wait at the subway. I marvel at beautiful lyrics as I hear them for the very first time while I try to catch some sleep in the dead of night. I love to hear the stories, the experiences, the pain and the joys of peoples lives told through song, and because I love all these things, I make the music that I hope can do the same for you.

I was born and raised in Uganda, a small landlocked country in the East of Africa.  My favorite memory as a child is one of myself, sitting at the stairs to our old home and writing a card to my mom for mothers day. I don’t quite remember what I wrote in that card, but I do remember trying to come up with words that no one else would write even if  I really just wanted to express the same things they were, - gratitude.

I loved going to church on Sunday mornings. Church felt like a free concert, the choir was always cheerful, the songs were so much fun, and the congregation sang every word and from Darlene Czech to Cece Winans and every single artist in between, I was inspired, moved, challenged.

I believe it is the things we never get to say that matter the most but I also believe it is the things we never get to hear that matter the most. I believe music is a tool, one of the most powerful one’s we’ve got and that with it, we can reach the world in ways we can not even begin to fathom. I believe our world right now needs to be reached by the truth of the word of God and I make music to, reach all those people.
